The Hill College Players invite the Hillsboro community for some holiday fun with their performance of The Christmas Carol Farce: Featuring the Five-Minute Christmas Carol by Jon Jory and Michael Bigelow Dixon.

In a rift on Charles Dickens’ beloved ghost story A Christmas Carol, authors Jon Jory and Michael Bigelow Dixon deliver a humorous play where a group of high school students produce a version of the famed Christmas novel for a television broadcast. After several hurdles, the cast learns they must cut their performance from one hour to five minutes.

The Players are a beloved theatre group in the Hillsboro community. They are an ensemble of students and faculty who produce several productions throughout each academic year. Students are invited to direct, design, and act in each performance.

All performances are held in the Vara Martin Daniel Performing Arts Center at the Hill College Hill County Campus. Tickets are $5 for general admissions; performances are free for students, faculty, and staff with a college ID.
